UPON the Order of the Registrar Nour Hineidi dated 23 December 2021
AND UPON reviewing the Respondent’s draft Bill of Costs dated 26 January 2022 (the“Draft Bill”)
AND UPON the Respondent’s request to the Registry on 26 January 2022 for payment of 50% of the Respondent’s costs, as set out in the Draft Bill, to be paid on account (the“Request”)
AND UPON paragraph 5 of Practice Direction No. 5 of 2014 (with reference to the DIFC Courts’ Costs Regime)
AND UPON taking into account all other relevant documents sitting on the case file
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
1. The Request is granted.
2. The Appellant is ordered to pay a total USD 222,651.76 (the“Amount Payable”) directly to the Respondent by4pm on 11 February 2022. This amount represents 50% of the total amount claimed by the Respondent in its Draft Bill.
3. The Respondent must provide the Appellant with its bank details before4pm on Tuesday, 1 February 2022for transfer of the Amount Payable.
